Michael Ortiz Wins Rodney Hill Prize

Michael Ortiz, Dotty and Dick Hayman Professor of Aeronautics and Mechanical Engineering, has won the first Rodney Hill Prize in Solid Mechanics. This prize is presented once every four years at the International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ICTAM). The prize is awarded to a single scientist for outstanding research in solid mechanics over the previous decade.
