This course will build on the methods developed in ME/CE/AM 295, and apply them to problems in solid and fluid mechanics.  The course will proceed through a series of projects that introduce the use of neural operator surrogate models for multiscale modeling, the use of generative and diffusion models for experimental inference and optimal design, and agentic AI for automated data generation and model discovery.  The specific topics and projects will be decided based on the interests and background of the students.
