Julia Greer, Ruben F. and Donna Mettler Professor of Materials Science, Mechanics and Medical Engineering; Fletcher Jones Foundation Director of the Kavli Nanoscience Institute, has been appointed the new editor-in-chief of the Journal of Applied Physics. Established in 1931, the Journal of Applied Physics is an influential and international publication "bringing significant new experimental and theoretical results of applied physics research into the global spotlight through the efforts of its diverse and internationally recognized editorial team."
